Pig Roast Meeting

Bobby Sanchez has brought this up to the board and at the Pig Roast we would like to discuss this bylaw, for or against and then vote on it.  We do not want this to consume the day so we are asking that you think about it before hand and bring good questions for discussion.

Section 7         Executive Board Decisions

C         Board Executed Discipline Decisions

Any discipline decisions by a current and or past Executive Board cannot be changed in any way for a minimum of 5 years. In the case of a player suspension for more than 5 years, and only after the 5th year of the suspension, the disciplined player must supply, in writing, his reasons why he should be reinstated to the current board at that time. If the current board at that time, by majority vote, agrees to overturn the original decision by the past Board/s, the current Board can then take this re-instatement request to the general membership for vote. This general membership vote must be taken at the next General Meeting. If this vote passes by the majority of the general membership, the said player will be allowed to enter the draft the following year.

Carl McEvers Receives One Game Suspension

The Board met Sunday 5/31/15  to discuss the ejection of Carl McEvers. Dean, Brandon, Erik, Rob, Darrin, Glenn, Ron Brink and Todd were present at the meeting. Ron was there to vote for Dean because Dean and Carl are on the same team. We discussed the NSA ruling on “when a batter must enter the batter box,” because of Carl’s remarks during the incident.  Glenn explained what happened and expressed why he thought Carl should be suspended an additional game. We all came to the conclusion that Carl’s actions did merit an additional game suspension and he was put on probation for the remainder of the season.

Wally Mersino Receives Probation

The Board met Tuesday 5/12/15 at Christies to discuss the ejection of Wally Mersino. Present at the meeting was Dean, Brandon, Erik, Rob, Wally and myself. We discuss with Wally what happened and Dean did contact Glenn and got his opinion of the matter. We came to the conclusion that Wally actions did not merit another game suspension but he was put on probation for the remainder of the season.
